Foie Gras on Poutine : Description
My friends. I took a photo. For all of you that didn't believe that I would embark on the fatty endeavour of eating fatten duck fat on cheese curds on gravy on french fries... please see the specimen below.
That giant hunk of something that looks like cheese sitting on the fries is indeed the foie gras.
It was delicious.
The same restaurant served Prairie Oysters. I tried to order them. Alas, they were not in season.

That looks/sounds delicious. Those French sure know how to make a dish that's horrible for your body don't they.
Question for you: How do you feel about eating a baby duck who survived deplorable conditions just to end up as a carcass on your place?
