My Faith has been Renewed
For a plethora of reasons, I had lost my faith in the American public.
But tonight... tonight they proved they weren't as stupid as I feared they very well could be.
They kicked that incredibly dumb blonde idiot, Kelly Pickler, off of American Idol.
I can actually say that I would be ok with any of the remaining finalists winning the title.
Which means that I owe the American people an apology. I thought for sure they would vote off any decent contestant and keep the moronic twits as their idols.
American Public, I am truly and deeply sorry that I misjudged you. That being said - I am also incredibly relieved that my judgment was faulty - and that you outshone my expectations.
Now if only the lessons you have learned from American Idol could have applications in the real world.

I was so excited to see her leave. I hoped the American voting public wasn't dumb enought to put her through after 2 horrendous weeks in a row....finally, they have seen the light!

I had a very intersting talk with a dear friend of mine about this very subject. He actually LIKED Kelly. He was sad to see her go. We fought about that for awhile. THEN, he had the nerve to say that he didn't find Chris to be hot at all, in fact, he used the word 'ugly'. I was shocked and apauled. Needless to say I stopped the conversation right there. Apparently I was talking to an American Idol idiot.
Good bye Kelly. Go visit your dad in prison. Bring him some calamari.
