In Preparation For April 6
With only 2 weeks to go (and counting) I am delighted to provide you, my friends and family, with a birthday list to assist you in finding the "perfect gift" for my 27th birthday.
I have put a lot of thought and consideration into this list, as I am sure it will be used by many in the pursuit of buying my eternal friendship. I have included a variety of items in an affordable range, to ensure that everyone will have an opportunity to make me happy.

- I would very much like to be able to wear Lululemon, but unfortunately have found it to be slightly expensive. A gift card in any denomination would be greatly appreciated.
- I love Vera Wang's fragrance for women (available at all Holt Renfrews).
- My lips get chapped - and Kiehl's Baby Lip Balm is the best!
- I am a frequent visitor to Tim Horton's... I LOVE coffee... especially if it's free for me.
- Every month I anxiously await my favorite publication... InStyle. A subscription would be lovely.
- This one is mostly for Jason's benefit... but I would not be opposed to anyone else purchasing it. An Ipod.
- If Jason actually reads this and complies with the above request... then I would like accessories for my Ipod.
- There is of course a number of books that I would like to own. Chocolate Connoisseur by Roussel Doutre, The Hypochondriac's Pocket Guide to Horrible Diseases You Probably Already Have by Dennis DiClaudio, A Short History of Myth by Karen Armstrong, Wisdom's Daughter: A Novel of Solomon and Sheba by India Edgehill, A War Against Truth by Paul William Roberts, Human Cargo by Caroline Moorehead, The Sociopath Next Door by Martha Stout and finally The Underachiever's Manifesto: The Guide to Accomplishing Little and Feeling Great by Ray Bennett. All sound truly fascinating and I believe would make me a better person for reading them.
- Occassionally I enjoy dancing or signing along very loudly with a favorite song. You can assist by presenting me with: Back To Bedlam by James Blunt, I'm a Mountain by Sarah Harmer, College Dropout and Late Registration by Kanye West.
Thank-you for taking the time to thoughtfully consider my list. I look forward to seeing which item you will lovingly select.

You will never get a Kanye CD from me, but I will thoughtfully consider the rest of the items. Is there going to be some sort of scale where the friends that get you the better gifts will be loved more?

I already bought her gift. Now I believe YOU, Chester, better not buy the same gift as ME!

What if we've already bought her the same gift? One of us will have to be killed! Either that or a gift receipt will have to be given with the gift...
We may never know.

Does anyone want to go in half with me on the purchase of a new car? I think her presents as listed are a bit too tame. Gift certificate to Love Stop, now that's more Tasha's style.
