Poor Poor Pitiful Feet
Just yesterday I was asking Jason what exactly a "Half Marathon" was.
And today I walked one.
Took me 3 hours and 45 minutes walking at a steady pace.
Or - according to the pedometer - 28,500 steps.
And I am now having a great deal of difficulty walking around my home. In fact I just crawled up the stairs to get to the computer.

Just so we're clear on this...
...you did a half-marathon without any preparation or taining beforehand?
I should have bought stocks in Ibuprofen.

My dear Tasha, I am sorry to hear about your sore feet/legs/body. At least all this pain was for a great cause. Just think about how much easier next year will be!
Congrats on completing the walk. I'm proud of you!

What was the cause? Sounds like a lot of pain for a cause, let's hope it was worthwhile! Orphan babies? Aids Research? Make-a-Wish?

Friar.
I WALKED a half-marathon. What training do you need? I've been running 3-4 times a week.
The good news is that come Sunday morning there was absolutely no pain at all.
And today I'm going running. :)
