The Weekend after the Long Weekend
Highlights:
- Ran 13 km.
- Picked up my free sample (I got a notice in the mail) from Bobbie Brown.
Lowlights:
- Chewy dislocated her hind left leg.
- Spent Friday evening at the Emergency Animal Hospital.
- Had to leave my poor Chewy at the Emergency Animal Hospital overnight.
- Sat by the phone in case the Emergency Hospital called (I signed a "in the case of cardiac or respiratory arrest and the Emergency Animal Hospital is unable to contact me, please use whatever means possible to resuscitate) for the duration of Friday night and Saturday morning.
- Picked up my Chewy - only $600 damage.
- There is a 50% chance that leg will dislocate again in next two weeks. If this happens - will require surgery.
- Emergency Animal Hospital gave me instructions to confine Chewy to cat carrying box for 2 weeks.
- Chewy does not like cat carrying box. Cries when left in box.

Poor Chewy, poor bank account. The things we do for love. Hopefully the pain of having to keep Chewy in there for 2 weeks will pay off with Chewy being healthier than ever.

Yikes! I hope your next weekend is better...your sanity probably can't handle another horrible weekend.
I hope next weekend has way more highlights than lowlights!

I hope Chewy heals okay! (get pet insurance) Thank God you don't have to clean out 3 leaking abccesses while holding down your screaming, clawing, cat in pain. I only had to pay $500 for the privledge of doing that.
