Lonely...

When I got home from work on Friday Jason informed me that he had to go to Edmonton for work training... starting Monday morning. He was scheduled for a 3 days of training and had to be at the shop in Edmonton first thing Monday morning.

I didn't realize that I had become so needy.

But I have... and I'm feeling it!

When he was getting ready to go on Sunday night - I sat on the couch - so overcome by sadness I didn't know what to do. I nearly cried.

He left.

It's just me and my Chewy. She's pretty demanding when there is only one of you to give her attention.

I'm half-way through the "alone" time... and I seem to be doing alright. Turns out that my ever-active social life (aka: work) has saved me from complete misery.

He will return late tomorrow night... and instead of (I had it all planned) meeting him at the door - rushing into his "waiting" arms and laying a big soppy one him... he'll be coming home to an empty (Chewy-not-included) house.

I will be at the main office working on a photoshoot of a compressor package until 10:30 tomorrow night.

If it weren't for Jason you would be the most boring person in the entire world. He's the only reason I keep inviting you out to social functions...

Though... you offer a valid point.

Well, I welcomed Jason home for you when I picked him up from dropping off the rental car. I tried to keep the slober to a minimum.

Well - I guess that's a life lesson for me.

Should have never started working. It interfers with my life.

And while I am off watching someone else take high-end photos of a compressor package - someone may take over my wifely duties.

At least it was you Craig. I don't think I could handle it if it were anyone else.
